Where is Riberac?

Riberac is in the West of the Dordogne in an area known as Perigord Vert on account of its green-ness. Riberac is 1.5 hours from Bordeaux airport, 50 minutes from Bergerac airport and 50 minutes from Angouleme train station with TGV and Eurostar connections.

By Air

Many major airlines fly direct to Bordeaux and Bergerac from the UK. Car-hire is available at both Bergerac and Bordeaux but make sure you book in advance - it is cheaper and avoids disappointment.

By Rail

Angouleme is the nearest TGV (High speed train) station. Car hire is available at Angouleme and it is approx 50 minutes drive to Riberac. From Waterloo or Ashford you will need to change train at Paris or Lille. Changing at Paris involves a metro journey from Gare du Nord (the Eurostar terminus) to Montparnasse.

By Road

Riberac is almost exactly 500 miles from Calais by road. Tried and tested route quickest from Calais available on request which involves motorway tolls of approx 28GBP.
